How to use Nibbley's meal planner to plan your week's meals and generate shopping lists.

Nibbley’s meal planner makes it easy to plan your week and generate a shopping list.

Setting Up a Meal Plan

  1. Go to the Meal Plan section (from the home screen or menu)
  2. Select the week you want to plan
  3. Tap on any day to add meals
  4. Browse your saved recipes or search for something specific
  5. Assign recipes to breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks

Using the Calendar View

The calendar shows a full week at a glance:

  • Tap any slot to add or change a meal
  • Drag recipes to move them between days
  • Swipe to navigate between weeks
  • Colour coding shows meal types

Generating a Shopping List

Once your meal plan is set:

  1. Tap Generate Shopping List
  2. Nibbley combines ingredients from all planned meals
  3. Duplicate ingredients are automatically merged
  4. Items are organised by supermarket aisle
  5. Check off items as you shop

Tips for Meal Planning

  • Plan on Sunday — set aside 10 minutes each Sunday
  • Be flexible — plan 5 dinners, leave 2 nights open
  • Use leftovers — plan meals that create useful leftovers
  • Involve the family — let everyone pick a meal
  • Repeat winners — keep successful weeks as templates
