Saving Recipes from Instagram
How to save recipes from Instagram posts, reels, and stories into Nibbley.

Instagram is a treasure trove of recipe content. Here’s how to capture those recipes properly.
From Instagram Posts
- Open the Instagram post containing a recipe
- Tap the three dots (⋯) menu
- Select Copy Link
- Open Nibbley and paste the link
- Review the extracted recipe and save
From Instagram Reels
- Open the Reel
- Tap the Share button
- Select Copy Link or share directly to Nibbley
- Wait for AI extraction
- Review and save
What Nibbley Extracts
From Instagram content, Nibbley can extract:
- Recipe text from captions
- Ingredient lists from images (using OCR)
- Spoken instructions from Reels
- Recipe details from linked websites
Tips
- For caption recipes, make sure the full caption is visible before copying the link
- If extraction isn’t perfect, manually copy the caption text and paste it into Nibbley as a manual recipe
- Create an “Instagram Recipes” collection to keep these organised
